Singles Ladder

There is a singles ladder for all members to enter.

This is administered by Suzy Bassett.  Please contact Suzy by email [email protected]  to enter or if you have any questions.

Any player who does not want to play mixed singles will have a code next to their name, so they are not challenged for a mixed singles – (WO) Women Only, (MO) Men Only.

Each match will be 2 tie break sets and a Championship tie break for the decider if needed.

There is no timeline when to play the matches but once challenged, you have 3 weeks to schedule and play the match. Please report all scores or walkovers to Suzy on the above email.

This is a “leapfrog” ladder, when you beat someone higher than you in the ladder, you will leapfrog above them knocking all players down.

If you lose, players remain where they are.

If the challenger wins by default, because the match can’t be played for any reason, they will still leapfrog to the winning position.

You can join the ladder at any stage starting at the bottom.

If you want to remain but can’t play for any reason, you will have (OUT) entered next to your name until you are ready to rejoin. This means you will naturally full down the ladder as matches get played.

For the time being, the ladder list will be published every Thursday and put in the coaching hut window (Oli’s hut) and on the club notice board.
