Success for club members at the finals day for the Southend & District Winter Individual Tournaments at Deanes Indoor Tennis Centre. In an all Westcliff Lawn affair, Cally Flinders and Sarah Jolley beat Gill Sanderson and Sarah Ball to take the Ladies Senior Doubles title. Sarah Jolley then partnered Paul Moffat in the Mixed Over 35 Doubles losing that match, but Sarah and Paul then went on to beat fellow club members Graham Boosey and Serena Rahim-Shah in the Mixed Doubles Plate final, winning on a deciding championship tiebreak. Gill Sanderson partnered Tim Willcock in her second final of the day and they successfully defended their Mixed Senior Doubles title with a straight sets win.
